I know myself well enough to admit that I am definitely incurable with this sickness called "shopping" and "wanting things as needs". I'm sorry, that's just the way I am and whoever I end up with is just going to have to accept that...just as I accept that guys will always mock us girls in our shopping and pretend like they don't care about how their hair looks (which I know you DO care...you take like 2 minutes to just add gel).
Anyways, things I'm always on the hunt for, but can never seem to either find or afford (or justify affording):
BootsAnd I mean allll kinds of boots. Knee-high, thigh-high, booties...the sick thing is that you can't just stop with one pair like a pair of good black pumps. No, because then there's the dilemma of "Black or brown? Or should I be daring and go red? Flat riding boots or kick-ass heels?" Yes, the dilemma that is boots. I already bought a pair of black ankle boots (justified in the fact that it's from Target) and I'd love to have a pair of thigh-highs. And seriously, there has to be a way to wear them without looking like a hooker. Also, the problem I have with boots is that...well, "it's not you, it's me." Because my legs are bowed or something and every time I wear taller boots, it just doesn't fit or form well to my legs. It's torture in one way and saves me a lot of money in another.
Rhianna in Freja Beha ErichsenLeather JacketI've been on the hunt for a great leather jacket for over 6 years now...part of me is unsuccessful because I don't avidly shop for it too much since it just hurts when I have to place it back on its rack, open to anyone who wants to swipe it away on their credit cards, but also because I have a tough time finding one that has skinny enough arms. I often end up looking like a child trying on their mother's clothing when it comes to jackets. However, I did find this amazing jacket at Zara. I love jackets that have a lot of stitching to create new textures.
This isn't the Zara jacket...I couldn't find the exact photo since I think they released their winter line online already.Nude PumpsI've been looking for nude pumps for about 4 years now. I can never find one that is less than $200 and doesn't cut into my bony ankles. Any help here? They match everything and make your legs look longer!
And things I'm just in love with right now but will never justify purchasing on a whim:
LuluLemon's lightweight tweed jacket. I can't seem to find photos of anything I want right now, how frustrating, but I love how it has this high collar and is so light yet so warm.
Leopard-printed faux fur coat. It's just so luxurious! Having it draped all over you, how warm!
Faux-fur vest. I'm just loving how the textures are so different this season.
